I think none of us are perfect, but for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that who so ever believedth on him should have everlasting life, so as Christians we should. He gave us his best, so we should too, even though we do not always do as we are suppose too.
I agree with you. I think it is the lack of faith that God will provide for us when we take from ourselves. Many times we think we are the only ones who provide for ourselves, therefore are careful to how much we give. God is our provider. He is our everything. He has never failed us, but we act like He has.
Great question. Giving God our best as christians involves much more than finances. I think that when the subject of tithing is raised, money automatically becomes the focus. Yet God gives us so much more than that. So we have so much more than money to give to God. Sometimes we struggle with finding ways to use the gifts that God has given us in the “church”. As christians, we have to be careful not to limit the places or the talents we use to give God the glory.
Sis. Vines, what a great point! God gives us so much and in all things and in all ways we should give back to Him!
